I Built This Because I Know
What That Room Feels Like.

    A Letter to You

    My mother had a gift.

Not for grand gestures or perfectly planned events — but for the quiet, deliberate act of gathering people together in a way that made them feel genuinely seen. She built rooms where people showed up fully. Where conversations went somewhere real. Where you left feeling like something had shifted, even if you couldn’t name it yet.

Watching her move through the world that way shaped everything I believe about what it means to be in the right room with the right people.

Amara & Kin is what happens when you decide to build that feeling on purpose.

Not a membership. Not an event calendar. A curation — of people, moments, and the kind of care that most gatherings don’t take the time for. Every detail considered. Every room shaped with intention. Every invitation extended because we believe the person receiving it belongs there.

This is rooted in a particular gaze — one that comes from culture, from lineage, from knowing what it means to create beauty in a world that doesn’t always make space for it. You’ll feel that in every gathering we hold.

And you are welcome here. Come with curiosity. Come ready to notice. Come as you are — as long as who you are includes a genuine appreciation for the texture of a well-spent evening.

I’m building this for the people who know exactly what I mean by that.

  • Some Rooms Change You. We Build Those Rooms.

Every gathering at Amara & Kin begins with a question: what would this room feel like if every detail were considered? The answer is what we build — every time.

    A Sensibility, Not A Style

    THE AESTHETE

To move through the world as an aesthete is to notice — the quality of a conversation, the weight of a glass, the way a room feels before anyone has said anything.

Amara & Kin gathers people who move that way. Curiosity is the price of entry. Everything else follows.
